Wine Tasting at Chateau Elan

We arrived at Chateau Elan Winery & Resort about an hour early.

It was a beautiful spring day. Sunny and warm. Weather that makes you slow down without thinking about it.

The grounds were perfectly maintained. Open, inviting, and easy to enjoy. We spent some time walking around before check-in, taking it all in at an unhurried pace.

My husband and I met his sister and her husband for the tasting. A simple plan that turned into a really good moment to reconnect.

Once inside, we received instructions and a tasting menu with six rounds of wine. Structured, but relaxed. A setup that lets you enjoy the experience without overthinking it.

We found a booth inside the winery and settled in. Wine in hand, music in the background, a small snack to share. Conversation came easily, moving from one topic to the next as naturally as the tastings themselves.

It was a great day. Easy. Enjoyable. Worth the time.

Some experiences don’t need much to be memorable.

This was one of them.

I’ve always known this trail was here. Noonday Park is part of my routine. A place I return to for leisure, not discovery. Familiar enough to feel settled.
