Burj Khalifa
After the Musuem of the Future, we returned to the hotel for a quick lunch and then a nap.
Naps aren’t typical on vacation, but this one was necessary.
A much-needed reset to move forward.
Tonight was for the Burj Khalifa.
A VIP experience. Skip-the-line access. Finally, it was time.
We caught an Uber to the Dubai Mall and made our way through to the Burj Khalifa entrance. The lines were incredibly long, which made walking straight to the elevator feel like a luxury earned.
Up to floor 125.
Then another elevator to 148.
And finally, one more to 154.
Each ascent felt quieter. Higher. More unreal.
At the top, we were greeted with drinks and views that stopped conversation entirely. We toasted an epic vacation and took it all in—the lights, the scale, the city stretching endlessly below us.

The Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world.
For now.
Thank you, Dubai. You really are a great city.
